The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. It became the band’s third album to reach number one on the chart, following For Those About to Rock We Salute You (1981) and Black Ice (2008).

Black Ice peaked at number one in 29 countries, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States. It was the second best-selling record of 2008, and has shipped 6 million copies worldwide.

7. The Razors Edge (1990)

The album reached number 2 on the US Billboard 200 and number 4 in the UK, a smash commercial success that returned the band to the popularity of its glory years of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
