On This Day In Metal: March 11th 1983 - Quiet Riot Released Metal Health

Wow 40 years ago!! I still remember hearing this album like it was yesterday.

I was actually listening to Metal Health on Hair Nation on the way home last night in a major snowstorm.

I loved this album as a kid and every once in awhile ill give it another listen.

Did you know that it was the first heavy metal album to reach number one on the Billboard 200 chart, replacing the Police’s Synchronicity at number one in November 1983.
