The Songs
1. Asphalt. The first track of the album has electronic sound effects and harsh vocals however clean vocals with harsh in the background are heard in the chorus with emphasis on the synths.
2. Scorpion. This song has more of a pop feel and begins with clean vocals and dark synths. Then they add harsh vocals in the chorus and a bit of harsh vocals in the back and the rest of the song, especially during the breakdown.
3. Bloodworm. Heavier and faster. I love the synths here. Blast bleats and a big "bleurgh." A total banger.
4. Smoke. Synthwave, electronic sounds, clean and harsh vocals, a catchy chorus and harmonics on guitars. My favorite track.
5. Wasted Space. I like the guitar riff here, along with the clean and harsh vocals. This track is super catchy and another song with a pop vibe.
6. Landslide. The bass and synths sound great and pretty clear here. Changes in rhythms and styles are noticeable during the song. This is another catchy tune and another song that I loved.
I like that the album is very focused on synths. It has electronic elements and a pop sensitivity, yet is balanced with breakdowns and a good mix between clean and harsh vocals. A short and sweet work, with its heavy side.
