Breaking News: Craig Jones Leaves Slipknot After 27 Years

Slipknot have parted ways with longtime sampler and keyboardist Craig "No. 5/133" Jones. He had been with the band since 1996 however Slipknot recently released a very brief statement on their social media pages regarding the matter:

Jones was always one of the most recognisable band members due to his spiked pinhead mask/headwear which didn't really deviate from it's original inception unlike other band member's masks. Jones originally joined Slipknot as the guitarist when Anders Colsefni took the position of vocalist during the recording of their demo album "Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat." Jones was nicknamed "The Quiet One" due to his absolute reluctance to engage in conversation with media outlets.

At the time of posting this article, Jones himself has not commented on his departure from Slipknot and the band have yet to reveal if they will be replacing him
