Having just released their 13th studio album "Congregation Of Annihilation" in May, This Day in Metal's Metalhead Marv had the opportunity to chat with Metal Church's Kurdt Vanderhoof.
First off, they spoke about the hiring of new singer Marc Lopes and discussed how that went about.
Afterwards, Marv asked him about any unreleased music from Mike Howe ever being released.
Then they discussed any favourite songs he liked off the new album.
Marv asked him about coming to Toronto and he said he would love to but the last few times something always came up.
So eventually, they ended up talking about Canadian music and his love for Rush, Kim Mitchell and Triumph.
