Hamilton Comic Con was held this weekend and I had the opportunity to go there and see what it was all about. The place was packed with people searching for Funko Pops, Records, Comics, Wrestling & Action figures and so much more.
The convention was awesome and there was lots to see and do there. TV stars like Amanda Bearse from Married with Children, Home Improvement's Richard Karn and movie celebrities like Jayne Eastwood and The Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno.
Not only that, wrestling celebrities like Rikishi and Sgt. Slaughter were there.
What was super cool is having the THE DELOREAN TIME MACHINE from Back To The Future and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider there. The fun thing about this convention is seeing stuff that I grew up with.
The highlight for me was meeting legendary drummer Simon Wright. Simon was in AC/DC from 1983–1989 and played on the albums Fly On The Wall, Who Made Who and Blow Up Your Video. He also played with Dio (1989–1991, 1998–2010) and played on the albums Lock Up the Wolves (1990), Magica (2000), Killing the Dragon (2002) and Master of the Moon (2004).
Currently, Simon is playing with Dio Disciples and recently played at Wacken Open Air. Joey Belladonna of Anthrax was the vocalist for that show.
