Metallica Kick Off Their World Tour With Diverse Setlist

Metallica began their epic two year long M72 World Tour at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands on April 27th as part of their No Repeat Weekend campaign. Support acts included Architects and Mammoth WVH but the stars of the show opened with a surprising choice which began a very diverse setlist.

The show began with the legendary instrumental 'Orion' from the Master of Puppets album which hasn't been used as an opener for a setlist since 2011. Following this, the band battered their way through a mix of classics and new material. The full setlist is included below:
