You can’t keep a heavy metal legend down. Although it’s been nearly a decade since guitarist and songwriter K.K. Downing departed Judas Priest, the famous band he co-founded and played with for 40 years, he was never really going to retire. It was only a matter of time before he reclaimed the spotlight.
K.K. has had metal coursing through his veins from the beginning, starting in the Midlands region of England where Judas Priest was born. He chronicled his life odyssey in his 2018 autobiography, and his passion for his chosen genre is well represented with his new band K.K.’s Priest and the thunderous debut album Sermons Of The Sinner.
U.D.O., the band led by former ACCEPTfrontman Udo Dirkschneider, will release its new album "Game Over", on October 22 via AFM Records.
Mastodon have announced their ninth full-length studio album, “Hushed and Grim”.
Described as the group’s “most ambitious body of work to date”, Hushed and Grim will be released on October 29 via Reprise Records, and arrive as an extended two-disc offering.
DECEIVER will be released on November 19th via Nuclear Blast Records. Stream the first single LIVING PYRE, now: nblast.de/KhemmisDeceiver

With a bond forged in youth and decades-old friendship, the undisputed masters of thrash metal return with their eleventh studio album, PERSONA NON GRATA due to be released on November 19th via Nuclear Blast Records
Literally translating to an "unwelcome" or "unacceptable" person, PERSONA NON GRATAtouches on themes of modern societal disgust and degradation. The band gathered at Tom Hunting'shouse in the mountains where they produced and recorded Persona Non Grata from three home-built studios. Steve Lagudi was at the helm of engineering while the band enlisted Andy Sneap of Backstage Studios to mix the album. For the third time in the band’s history, they returned to Swedish artist Par Olofsson to create the album artwork.
It’s been years since a hard rock or metal band has performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. This would be the perfect year to have Miley Cyrus and Metallica perform together at this. Few songs separate and then come together and perform Nothing Else Matters to end the show. C’mon fans let’s get behind this!
