On This Day In Metal: May 10th 1984 Twisted Sister Released The Album "Stay Hungry"

This album proved to be a huge turning point in the band's career. Their previous album "You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll" did do well having sold over half a million copies, but it was this album that blew this band into the Rock history books.

With the two smash MTV hits "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock" the album would go on to reach number 15 on the Billboard Charts and eventually selling well over 3 million copies.
