CONCERT REVIEW: PANTERA live in Toronto August 12th 2023

Welcome back to Toronto Pantera! This being the first time back in T.O. since playing at the Skydome ( Yes Skydome) with Black Sabbath and the deftones.

First off this is a tribute concert to Pantera and not Pantera correct? Either way going into this i didn't know what to expect and having just played the night before with Metallica in Montreal they must be exhausted right?

Let's start with tonight's first band. Didn't know much about Child Bite. The band led by singer Shawn Knight was very impressive and i totally enjoyed them.

Next up was Lamb of God who i had previously seen with Metallica years ago. To me this band should be headliners but damn getting the chance to see them whenever i'll take it. Randy Blythe sounded amazing and left the crowd wanting more.

And finally who i'm sure most of us were here to see "PANTERA". The band didn't dissapoint and played all the classics that we love.

I asked someone next to me what they thought of the concert and this is the answer i got "FUCK YES".

If you have this great opportunity to see this band i highly suggest you don't miss it. Heck, this may never happen again.

I'm giving this concert a 9/10 Metalhead Marv.
