Nevada governor Lombardo ‘serious’ about bringing AC/DC to Super Bowl

Sure he may be serious but heck the Super Bowl hasn't had a hard band since when the Rolling Stones played at Super Bowl XL.

Asked by the Las Vegas Review-Journal who he wants to play the show, Governor Joe Lombardo said: "AC/DC. I was going to yell it out. But yeah, I’m serious."

The band has never played the Super Bowl, and is still headlining festivals, including October’s “Power Trip” at Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., with Brian Johnson back as lead singer.

But the league is weeks from making a final decision.

Who knows it's dream of lots of us Rock fans for this to happen but i'll probably die before this. (Metalhead Marv).

A few years back Dee Snider of Twisted Sister backed an online petition to have AC/DC perform at the Super Bowl.

You can still sign that petition here if you wish!
