News: The Latest Updates in the Slipknot Camp Including Mystery New Member and Surprise EP 'Adderall'

Slipknot do like their surprises and unannounced music drops. Today, June 9th 2023 the band dropped a surprise 6 track EP 'Adderall' which features three alternate versions of the aforementioned title from their 2022 LP The End, So Far: 'Adderall - No Intro' 'Adderall - Rough Demo' and 'Adderall - Instrumental'  You can watch the new music video for "Rough Demo" below:

The surprise EP also includes three brand new tracks which haven't appeared on albums before; 'Death March,' 'Red or Redder' and 'Hard to Be Here;' all three tracks are instrumentals.

Recently, it was announced via Slipknot's social media accounts that keyboardist and sampler Craig Jones had left the band after a 27 year run; however the post was suddenly removed.

The band are currently on tour in Europe however Shawn "Clown" Crahan is notably absent due to looking after his wife following unspecified health issues. Not only that, but a mystery new member was seen on stage during their show in Austria earlier this week.

Clown says of the release:

“Deconstructing to continuously pave the way for evolution. At this point in the program nothing is safe.”
