Riot Fest, Chicago IL's huge multi-genre festival has announced they will be moving away from their usual space at Douglas Park in favour of Bridgeview at the Seat Geek Stadium as the setting for 'Riotland'. The festival is due to take place September 20th-22nd.
Festival co-founder Mike Petryshyn says about the change in location:
"Riot Fest will be leaving Douglass Park. And—allow me to be as clear as the azure sky of the deepest summer—our exodus is solely because of the Chicago Park District. Their lack of care for the community, you, and us, ultimately left us no choice."
