Rob Zombie Partners With Waxwork Records To Produce A Series of Never-Before-Released Classic Horror Vinyl Soundtracks

Rob Zombie has announced that he has once again partnered with Waxwork Records to produce a series of never-before-released Classic Horror soundtracks personally chosen by the artist. The first entry of the series will be the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 'White Zombie' which starred the legendary Bela Lugosi in 1932 and is considered as the first zombie movie. Zombie says of film:

"It's a great film that not a lot of people know about. It amazes me that a film that is so readily available can be so lost."

He also says of the new project:

"I have always been a huge fan of movie soundtracks. So I jumped at the opportunity to work with Waxwork on this project. I can’t wait to release these albums. So many of these films are greatly under appreciated and, they all contain such great music. So, to be able to release these deluxe packages is a dream come true."

The 1932 soundtrack will be available on vinyl for the first time ever and will include liner notes by Rob Zombie. Further details and purchase location can be found here.

Zombie and Waxwork previously worked together on the successful release of the official soundtracks to Zombie's films House of 1000 Corpses, The Devils Rejects, 3 From Hell, The Lords of Salem, Halloween 1 & 2 and The Munsters.
