The Rock and Roll Hall of fame have officially announced the Class of 2023 inductees via a video featuring previous inductee LL Cool J.
The only entry for what could be considered as heavy music was Rage Against The Machine with Iron Maiden once again being snubbed along with Soundgarden.
The Rock Hall consciously decided to expand the definition of rock music after coming under heavy criticism for their previous selections. The Rock Hall views rock music as "a sound that moves youth culture" and is not defined by genre.
