Unsigned of the Month - Villaintropist

Villaintropist are a modern thrash metal band from the Netherlands. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Death, Metallica and Slayer, Villaintropist released their first full-length album ‘Black Blood‘ in February 2022.

Bassist and lead vocalist Jesper Nibbelink says about their influences and sound: “there are a lot of influences actually. Basically, anything we listen to. That can be anything, any kind of stuff like Metallica, Slayer, Death but also bands like Pantera. They’re not necessarily in the Thrash kind of region that we’re in. But basically anything we like really, we put together in songs and like I said, we’re Thrash but we’re also not really Thrash; it’s one of those labels that you’re not sure how to fit exactly in there. We just make music because we like it.”
