Corrosion Of Conformity Bassist Mike Dean Leaves The Band
Bassist Mike Dean of Corrosion of Conformity has left the band citing distance from other band members as the cause.
Combining Industrial and IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) with techno to create a dark, heavy and impressive sound which resonates across multiple genres, Blush Response is just one of the powerhouses brought in to help form Fear Factory‘s new remix album “Recoded” (Adapt or Die); the first remix album in 25 years.
Joey Blush is the artist behind the solo project Blush Response. Originally from New York but currently based and operating from Berlin, Germany he was originally brought in to work on 2012’s The Industrialist where he contributed to additional keyboards and production; he also remixed the track ‘Difference Engine‘ on the album. Fast forward to the upcoming remix album which will be released on the 28th of October 2022, Blush Response remixed the closing/title track.
Joey says on the track ‘Recoded:’ “the inspiration came from within. I really wanted to just do the track as if I had made it. I love Burton’s voice, especially when he screams and it sounds crazy. I’ve been a Fear Factory fan for a while so I was like “I want to bring out that element, take away the sort of melodious element of the track and and make it really brooding and indicative of my sound.”
“Recoded” (Adapt or Die) will be released on the 28th of October 2022 via Nuclear Blast Records. You can preorder the album here.
