HELEVORN Release Dark And Gloomy New Doom Metal Album “Espectres”
Spain's renowned doom metal band Helevorn is now dropping their fifth studio album, “Espectres” which promises to deliver a gloomy, gothic, and doomy metal listening experience.
Mask of Prospero are a modern/post progressive metal band from Athens, Greece. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Architects and having shared the stage with Thy Art Is Murder and Tesseract, the band released their first full length album ‘The Observatory‘ in 2018. But just like the rest of the world, progress ground to a halt when the pandemic hit however this gave the band the chance to thoroughly work on upcoming new album ‘Hiraeth‘ available on the 27th of January 2023.
Vocalist Chris says of their sound: “Actually, I’m not a fan of labels, you know death metal, black metal, metalcore. So I don’t know, it’s something like metalcore; we have a lot of influence with more cinematic orchestral style stuff. We really like the more modern style like djent and new progressive stuff. We don’t have a particular genre with our music, it gives us room to write something else if we like in the future.”
