It was on This Day in Metal in 1985 that Mike Albert joined Megadeth having replaced Chris Poland who had just left the band.

The band was in need of a new guitarist for their upcoming "Killing is My Business" tour. Mike would perform with the band for all 40 dates on the tour.

After the tour he attended rehearsals for the "Peace Sells…But Who's Buying?" album but left the band shortly after due to "financial issues."
