Spain's renowned doom metal band Helevorn is now dropping their fifth studio album, “Espectres” which promises to deliver a gloomy, gothic, and doomy metal listening experience.

Still going strong since he helped form Accept in 1974, Udo Dirkschneider shows no sign of slowly down. From his Accept hits 'Balls to the Wall' to last year's Touchdown, Udo has demonstrated he is one of Heavy Metal's true legends.
Udo is preparing for his upcoming North America tour starting September 6th in Frenchtown, New Jersey and ending October 10th in Columbus, Ohio. He was forced to cancel it in 2023 due to an insurmountable combination of logistical, cargo, and rental equipment problems which make it impossible to perform the shows as scheduled.
Recently This Day in Metal's Metalhead Marv had the opportunity to chat with Udo and his son Sven.
On this episode Marv talk with Udo and his son Sven about their band’s upcoming North American tour, any future album plans and any possibility of touring again with Accept. Check out the interview below.
During the interview, Udo says on the possibility of playing with Accept again:
"No, I mean I hear nothing about it. Maybe he mentioned something on interview but I never ever had any offers to do this. I mean I think I don't want to do this..."

Heavy metal quintet U.D.O. — fronted by legendary singer Udo Dirkschneider — released their latest studio album, Touchdown, last Summer via Atomic Fire Records. Crafted with producer and mixing engineer Martin “Mattes” Pfeiffer at Redhead Studio (Wilhelmshaven, Germany), the massive, thirteen track Touchdown was mastered by Stefan Kaufmann at ROXX Studio (Solingen, Germany). The record includes a guest appearance by violinist Stefan Pintev on the closing track, and bass tracks were recorded by newest member, former Accept bassist Peter Baltes. Artwork was provided by Martin Häusler.
